A Brief Description of 70s Bistro

The 70's Bistro, located in Anonas Street, Project 2, Quezon City, opened in 1992. It is owned by Ben Galindo, Charlie Jayco, and Renard Bartolome. Popular pinoy folk rock artists and bands especially duing that decade perform — or performed – here. These include Asin, Heber Bartolome, Joey Ayala, Noel Cabangon, Gary Granada, and others. It also features the younger breed which include Eraserheads, Parokya ni Edgar, Brownman Revival, Session Road, ichyworms, Color It Red, True Faith and others. Show begins at 10:00pm and winds up at 2:00pm.

The follloiwing -- apart from the performing artists, of course -- give the place its distinctive character:

Food named after rock artists or bands, such as “Lolita Carbonara’, etc., and they taste great, too
The piece of art, a poster with the famous hippie peace sign, that serves as a backdrop in the stage
The attentive and friendly waiters
The Beatles Nights
