YouTubers can be roughly divided into Directors, Performers, Rippers, Vloggers, and Fanvidders, with quite a bit of overlap between the groups. We're making this group for Pnoy YouTubers to get to know each other and help increase their skills. If you have an active YouTube channel related to OPM or Filipino Pop Culture, please join up on the top right of the page.
We are really new, but I'm assuming the group here will include some introductions, chismis about YouTube, and lots of forum posts of cool channels to check out.
The kind of technical topics to be covered in the forum here would include:
- High Quality (FMT 18) for URLs and Embeds. This is somewhat obsolete now, but can be useful in some situations.
- Autoplaying embedded video (works for playlists too).
- Making Playlists
- Maintaining High Quality Video
- Downloading videos from YouTube
- Digitizing video from TV, DVD or video tape
- Creating RSS Feeds from YouTube
- Designing your Youtube Channel
For these technical articles, I think we should start an article then have people suggest new material to be added in the comments. Whoever is maintaining the article can then keep it updated.
There can also be other discussions here, perhaps on Youtube policy and news, whose been banned recently, etc.
While the section is still in the research and development phase, please leave comments on material you think would be important for youtubers.
