Celestine Cruz Gonzaga, popularly known by her screen name Toni Gonzaga, is a Filipina movie and TV actress, variety program host, singer, commercial model and magazine covergirl. She is one of the most visible multimedia artists in Philippine showbiz.She is also known as the Versatile Princess.Miss Toni Gonzaga, a Filipina actress more popular for being a very talented hosts. With her voice that can capture the ears of every listener, she can make every show livelier and more real. She has a very powerful voice, which complements her strong personality. From the time she transferred from GMA to ABS-CBN, she has been a sensation. She has been the leading host of the popular show Pinoy Big Brother. She really played a big part in the success of that show. Her acting is so real, both in drama and most specially comedy. She can sing and dance. She is very beautiful.

Toni was born on a Friday, January 20, 1984, a 6.8 lbs. baby girl to Methodists parents Carlito and Crisanta Gonzaga. Her birth name, Celestine, was given to her father by a boxer. She has 1 sister namely,Catherine. Toni was baptized as an infant and confirmed a child into a local United Methodist Church in her hometown of Taytay, Rizal. However, she sometimes attends evening worship at Greenhills Christian Fellowship or at Victory Christian Fellowship.

At the age of 4, Toni joined various local-singing competitions in their barangay in Taytay, Rizal.

Toni grew up in a Christian family with a heart for the people. Even before she started her career in showbiz, Toni has always felt the need to reach out to other people. She was once a Sunday school teacher in her town. She also ran for Baranggay Kagawad in Taytay, a position she lobbied hard for, recalling how she went door to door when she first campaigned. In her 3rd year as a Kagawad, she was even in charge of the "Clean & Green" campaign of her barangay.
