- Unique Umali (aka Uncle Paulie) is a music producer, song writer, recording artist and sound engineer from the Philippine Islands.
With his funky, melodic production and unique lyrical flow, many have tried to duplicate his style.
Co-owner of his own music production company "Hot Property Music Group" (with his music comrade Chiller Scheme) together have over 10,000 compositions in the Hot P vault and still counting! (**As of September 2008**)
Born and raised in the rough area of East London (England), Unique Umali fell in love with the art of music production at the age of 16 and went on to study sound engineering at the College of Musical Excellence (C.O.M.E) for 2 years at the age of 17.
In 2000, Unique ran into kindergarten friend Chiller Scheme whom he hadn't seen for years and also happened to have a passion for music and song writing production. After exploring each others strengths and weaknesses in their music production, in 2001 they both decided to open their own production label "AKA Productions" which in time became the industry name the untouchable "Hot Property Music Group".
In early 2008, Unique left his home town in search of bigger horizons to his mothers homeland, the Philippine Islands to
discover his roots, discover himself and to escape a music scene which was being crippled by the unskilled urban sound of Grime music that no one worldwide respects apart from the youths of the United Kingdom.
During 2008, Unique worked on his first solo studio album titled "The Entity" (Release date August/September 2009) which has been said to be "a breath of fresh air" to pinoy rap music and an opportunity for the young star to join the growing A-list of other international pinoy greats like Apl from the Black Eye'd Peas in worldwide stardom.
Now currently working on his 2nd solo studio album "The soul cleanser" (Release date TBC), Unique is still on his worldwide hustle to seek and collect new fresh talent to join his Hot Property Music Team in making timeless music.
