"Now It Starts" is the headlining track from the album of the same name. "Organic, real and fresh" - the 3 words used by Miguel Escueta when asked to describe the album, which showcases 11 tracks in all, from flaw-lessly rendered covers to standout original songs. The new originals on this album are, according to Escueta, the most "honest and sincere" he has written to date. "Lyrically, I just feel I said it the way it had to be said. No more metaphors or underlying meanings. Just pure honesty." The album has cover songs as well the initial single "We Belong Together" (Mariah Carey) and the award winning "Blue Monday" (New Order), among others. "I'm very proud of how we attacked these covers in arrangement and production. It's always scary to record famous cover songs, but I'm very happy with how we did on this record because I feel that we've turned them into our own and are now definitely fun to perform LIVE," M.E. shares.

The latest sure-hit single, which conjures up images of sunny, breezy days and picturesque scenery, is matched by an equally excellent music video. Filmed by the beautiful beaches and breathtaking cliffs of Bolinao in Pangasinan, the music video is potentially M.E.'s best offering to date. Quoting Miguel, it was the "most tiring, yet most fulfilling and fun shoot the band and I have ever done. It's for a song that we've been so excited about ever since it was written. We're so happy its our new single! The video is a semi-narrative. No story line, but the scenery and progression really explains what the song is all about in a metaphoric sense. When watched, we hope people say in their heads, 'Indeed, now it starts. Under the production of Pixeleyes Multimedia, the skillful direction of Yano Escueta, and the highly-trained eye of Director of Photography, Alma dela Pena, the video promises to thrill music and visual arts lovers everywhere.

Former Musical Director of the CBS Network in the United States has picked up "Now It Starts" (along with "You", another original from the album) for use in TV, Film and Advertising in the USA and other parts of the world!
